You might be in the middle of testing week or trying to figure out your summer plans or just trying get through the day without any slip ups! That’s ok! Here’s your reminder to make that you slow down and take a breather to recharge yourself! What you’re doing matters, but your health and well-being should be important as well.
Flex Those Muscles
Sitting in one spot all day will certainly do you no favors, and it’s so important that you get up and move! If you work out, that’s super great! Make the most of that gym session and don’t forget to take some time and wind down afterwards! If you aren’t the most active person, stand up and stretch a bit. Go outside and get some fresh air. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you’re moving! Take out the trash, but take the stairs instead of the elevator. Go for a walk! Maybe check out the community gym at your Kapi Residences community and try a light workout!
Hang out with friends
If you feel like school (and life in general) is bringing you down, grab some of your friends and just let loose! If your definition of “letting loose” is planning a day out at a cool destination, then heck yeah! Go for it! If you and your posse are more of the “do everything and nothing” type, get some food and settle in because you’re with the coolest people in the world! Want to sit and dish? Cards Against Humanity? Spending some quality time with your peep? (Priceless)
Have you been putting off finishing that one netflix series because you were being a responsible adult™? When was the last time you turned on your game console and had a really intense gaming session? Do you want a night out where you don’t have to cook for yourself? By all means, go wild, child!
Get some ZZZs!
As cool as it would be to stay up late so you can get in that extra self-care from binging shows, playing video games, watching vine compilations, etc, if you know you’re going to regret it the next day, then please don’t. (;-;) You did a lot during the day and you deserve some rest so you can recharge for the next! So if you can, get some beauty rest! Don’t wreck yourself!
Hang in there! Things might be hard right now, but the stress will pass eventually! You are doing your best and that’s all that matter for the time being!
