1. How do I apply to move in?
  2. Application process is very SIMPLE! You will need to go to Vacancies section under HOUSING tab on our web site and fill out application
  3. What do I need to provide when I apply for student housing?
  4. You will need to provide copy of your student ID, most recent transcript, state ID or Driver’s License. International students will need to provide copy of passport and recent I-20 form.
  5. Is there a background check?
  6. Yes, in order to assure safety of our tenants, we run criminal background check for all applicants.
  7. Do male and female students share the same apartment?
  8. No, all of our student apartments are gender specific.
  9. Do I need to find my roommate in order to share a room?
  10. No, you don’t have to find your roommate and you will only be responsible renting your spot.
  11. If I have a friend, can we move in together to share a room?
  12. You may definitely apply together and request to share a room. We will try our best to place you and your friend into same room if there is an availability.
  13. Can I reserve a spot in future date? For example, 3 or 6 months in advance.
  14. Yes, you may definitely reserve a spot 3 to 6 months in advance. Please, call us or contact us via email to reserve a spot in advance
  15. Can I make a specific request in regards to roommate matching (major, school, country)?
  16. Unfortunately, due to high demand, we cannot accommodate special requests in roommate matching. Roommates will be primarily matched based on move-in date and gender.
  17. Are utilities included?
  18. All utilities are included – electricity (up to cap), trash, water, gas, unlimited High speed Internet, Apple TV and Netflix.
  19. What about my laundry?
  20. Kapi Residences offers laundry facilities in all our residential buildings, most of them are in the apartments.
  21. How about housekeeping services?
  22. We do provide monthly housecleaning services to all Kapi Residents at NO COST!
  23. Do you allow pets?
  24. We are pet restricted communities but there are some exceptions under Federal and State laws.
  25. Can I have visitors?
  26. Visitors are allowed during the day but will have to leave apartment before 10pm. Unfortunately, no overnight guests are allowed.
  27. Can I smoke inside the apartment?
  28. All of our apartments are smoke free. Smoking is not allowed in Kapi Residences.
  29. Are meals included?
  30. No meals are provided. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen where students can prepare their own meals.
  31. How do I pay my rent?
  32. You will be able to login to tenant portal to pay rent and submit maintenance requests.
  33. How about security of apartment community?
  34. The apartments are located in a gated community with 24-hour on-site patrol.
  35. How about Keys?
  36. Students are provided with one set of keys which will include keys to apartment, amenities and mailbox.
  37. What are the COMMUNITY AMENITIES?
  38. Most of our communities include swimming pools, spas, gas BBQs, fitness center w/cardio and weight equipment, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, business center with internet access, media center, game rooms
  39. Is there a bus stop near apartment community?
  40. Yes, there are bus stops next to all of our apartment communities
